Meatspace Catalog

Le Meatspace Catalog est un projet de recherche que j'ai mené dans l'année 2022.
Cette questionne l'existence d'une technologie de communication et de l'information populaire, envisagé sur le modèle de l'architecture vernaculaire, comme une technologie émanant des besoins situés et conçue avec les resources et la culture d'une communauté.
Ce travail explore cette question à travers l'étude d'Internet, de la radio, des mouvements de resistances aux monopoles médiatiques ou aux technologies dominantes. Le meatspace catalog melange des recherches documentaires, des tutoriels, des nouvelles et des experiences auto-ethnographiques.

The Meatspace Catalog is the research project i've been working on during the year 2022. Through the study of actual and historical movement of technological reappropriation, dominant technologies, and sociology of technique, it tries to define what grassrooted technology populaire (grassrooted technology) could be. How information technology could be situated, thought by a community of people, and adressing their particular need ? Can information technology really escape the dominant project ? What are the means of resistance against the computer's military and liberal nature. ?

The Meatspace Catalog mixes field investigation, auto-ethnography, technical explainations, theoritical and documentary research and novel writing.

It takles subjects as : the Internet, Community Networks, Activism, Non-Linear Innovation, Autonomous Servers, Dumbphones, Electronics, UI design, Vernacular Architecture, Collapse, and others...
